Naseby Multi-Sports Courts Completed Bang On Schedule!


Mel Hoyle thanks the Fosse Contracts Limited project manger Bruce Cox and  "Andy the world's best sports-court installer" for the whole teams' superb hard work and outstanding expertise demonstrated throughout the last 6 weeks. During August we will be distributing information flyers to all local households/clubs regarding our new Naseby Multi-Sports Club membership, how to book the courts, and how to join-in with our sports try-out sessions. We will also be completing the final installation tweaks/bedding-in process. All this will be leading up to the Community Opening Event on the 5th September. 

It’s taken about five years of community fundraising and some very hard work by the village project team but what a fantastic outcome – a £65,000 fully equipped, community based multi-sports court hub will open its doors in Naseby in September 2010. The recent UK financial downturn is already being hard felt, particularly in rural locations like Naseby, so without the £50,000 Biffaward Major Grant we have been awarded, we would be facing many more years of community effort to achieve our goal. The new Multi-Sports Court will certainly be of enormous benefit to every age group from ‘youngsters to grannies‘, providing for an ever increasing range of outdoor sports and games. We’re also looking forward, in a very sporting way, to the inter-village competitions, which are planned in the coming months.

Village Hall

Naseby village hall is a superb asset and is available for hire for clubs and societies, parties or any other events.
The hall also has tables and chairs which can be hired out for events elsewhere.
If you would like to make a booking, please check the calendar here first.
The Village Hall Management Committee are responsible for the upkeep of the hall.
